Harnesses
A working-at-height harness is a piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consisting of straps and buckles that secure to a worker's body, typically around the shoulders, chest, hips, and thighs. Its primary function is to connect to a fall protection system, such as a lanyard or lifeline, to either prevent a fall (fall restraint) or arrest a fall in progress (fall arrest) by distributing the force across the body to reduce injury.
